The mystery of Japan is enhanced by the romantic and alluring images of its bridges that not only connect but entwine the landscape and culture. From mountain passes and suspension bridges over deep gorges, to picturesque drum bridges and dilapidated rope bridges, to sacred shrines and castle crossings, all bridges serve a purpose whether utilitarian or inspirational. Ronin Gallery is pleased to present the exhibition “Wondrous Bridges” a collection of over 50 prints from the 19th and 20th century that portray these images.
